Job Summary:

Working across third-party production plants and the warehouse network in Vietnam:

  • The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for supervising third-party production activities, warehouse operations, and inter-warehouse logistics to ensure consistent product quality, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity in line with Yara global standards.
  • Key responsibilities include third-party plant supervision, QA/QC compliance, inventory and warehouse coordination, logistics documentation control (delivery notes, invoices), and close coordination with Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, and HESQ functions.
  • The role plays a critical operational control function supporting Yara Vietnam’s growth strategy, increasing production volumes, expanding third-party manufacturing plants, and multi-warehouse distribution network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Third-Party Production Supervision

  • Conduct regular on-site supervision at third-party production plants (Phu My, Tay Ninh and future plants)
  • Monitor compliance with Yara QA/QC standards, product specifications, and batch traceability
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, ISO, IFA (International Fertilizer Association), HESQ, and Yara internal policies
  • Verify production records, quality checks, corrective and preventive actions
  • Report on production performance, quality deviations, and compliance status to Operations Manager

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Oversee product movements between third-party plants, central warehouse, and satellite warehouses
  • Control inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, and loss prevention
  • Support inventory audits, physical stock counts, and reporting activities
  • Coordinate with 3PLs to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations

Commercial & Logistics Documentation

  • Issue, control, and verify Delivery Notes (DN) and invoices for product sales
  • Manage documentation for inter-warehouse transfers
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Finance, and Logistics teams
  • Check & confirm payment for 3PLs based on contract/tariff.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Monitor and implement changes in operational rules, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Develop, review, and control SOPs, workflows, and operational documentation
  • Deliver Product Stewardship, quality, and safety training to third-party partners
  • Support safety coordination with internal teams, warehouses, and customers

Other assigned operational tasks and reporting as required  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Foreign Trade or related fields
  • Experience in production supervision, supply chain operations, or warehouse management
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC, inventory control, and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics documentation processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and it’s ecosystem
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken  

Internal and External Contacts:

  • Internal: Work with all internal departments
  • External: Third-party production plants, Warehouse operators and logistics service providers, Customers (as required for operational coordination)  

Working Conditions:

Regular travel to third-party production plants and warehouses (up to 70%), combination of office-based and site-based working environment
